Money Advice Services
Dales Housing Money Advice Service offers free advice to Dales Housing tenants.
Advice is given in an unbiased and confidential manner on welfare benefits, debt management and budgeting skills.
Dales Housing Ltd is licensed under the Consumer Credit Act 1974 to act as Debt Adjusters/Counsellors.
Our Service will:
- Advise you on entitlement to benefits and assist you to make a claim.
- Investigate and challenge overpayments of benefit on your behalf.
- Help you to apply for backdating of benefits.
- Provide debt counselling to help you manage debts.
- Give advice and assistance in negotiating with people you owe money to.
The service successfully maximises the income of many of our tenants through advice and assistance with welfare benefits and money problems.
Advice can be given by telephone, by an appointment at one of our area offices or in the privacy of your home.
