Paying Your Rent
You can pay your rent in a number of different ways:
- By Direct Debit through a bank account. You can choose a payment date of 5th, 15th or 25th of each month. Our staff have the required forms and will help you to complete them if you would like assistance.
- At any Post Office using your Dales Housing Rent Payment Card.
- In person by using your Rent Payment Cards at All Pay & Pay Zone Outlets.
- By SMS (text messaging). You can register to use this service by clicking on the link below. You will then be able to pay your rent anytime, anywhere. All you need is a UK registered mobile phone, a rent payment card number and a debit or credit card. https://www.allpayments.net/textpay
- By our telephone payment service available 24 hours a day. Please phone 0870 243 6040. You will need your rent payment card number, a debit or credit card, the expiry date and issue number (for Switch) and the amount you wish to pay.
- By our Internet payment service available 24 hours a day. Click on the link below and you will be asked to enter and confirm a password and an email address to which payment confirmation can be sent. http://www.allpayments.net
- The District Council can arrange to have Housing Benefit paid directly to Dales Housing. However, it would remain your responsibility to pay water and sewerage charges directly to Dales Housing
Please always use your tenant reference number when making a payment. This nine-figure number is unique to you and ensures your payment reaches your rent account.
Many of our tenants qualify for Housing Benefit to help pay their rent. If you think you may be entitled to claim please contact Derbyshire Dales District Council . Alternatively, our staff can let you have a form to return to the Council who administer the benefit system.
