Dales Housing owns and manages approximately 3,500 properties, comprising of family housing, single person’s accommodation, designated older peoples’ flats / bungalows and sheltered housing properties.
Dales Housing was set up in March 2002, following a successful transfer from Derbyshire Dales District Council, making us the largest social housing provider across the Dales. In late 2007, Dales Housing became part of a group structure, Acclaim Housing. The group structure was set up so that a new transfer organisation from Harborough District Council, Seven Locks Housing, could join and complete the Group.
Dales Housing is a not-for-profit organisation, regulated by the Homes & Communities Agency. Dales Housing is governed by a Board of 12 non-Executive Directors, made up of Independents, tenants and locally elected members.
