The Scrutiny Panel

The Scrutiny Panel is responsible for making sure that Dales Housing continually improves the way we deliver our services for you, that we take account of residents' views, meet our Dales Test and Deliver our Local Promises. The Panel is made up of up to 12 residents.

Time commitment

The Scrutiny Panel will meet at least 4 times a year. Meetings will usually last for 2-3 hours. Papers, information and reports will be distributed to panel members before each meeting, so you can be prepared. There will also be additional work which will be determined by the group depending on the service area being reviewed.

We will provide training and support to develop your personal skills.

What difference can it make?

The Scrutiny Panel will constructively challenge Dales Housing's working practices and make recommendations on how to improve so that you, our residents get the best possible quality of service.
