Prospective residents can drop-in at Denefield Court Independent Living Scheme, off St Giles Walk in Matlock, on Thursday 17 November between 1pm and 3pm, to find out more about Dales Housing’s six independent living schemes in the district.
Visitors will be able to take a tour of the scheme, to help them get a better understanding of what our independent living schemes have to offer, and talk to staff about the services and activities available to help residents lead a more active and independent lifestyle.
They will also be able to find out which schemes have homes available to rent now and how to apply.
Family members, friends and professionals working with anyone aged 55 and over are also welcome to come along to the event.
Louise Price, Head of Housing & Neighbourhoods at Dales Housing, said: “Our independent living schemes offer residents the best of both worlds. They can maintain an independent lifestyle in the comfort of their own home, while enjoying the peace of mind that comes from living in a safe, secure and shared environment.
“Our six schemes are located in the heart of communities within the picturesque Derbyshire Dales. Residents can enjoy the beautiful surroundings, while having all the amenities they need within walking distance.”
Dales Housing has one-bedroom and studio apartments available to rent across the Derbyshire Dales from just £403 to £536 a month including service charges.
All schemes have secure entry systems and residents have a 24-hour personal alarm for emergencies. Scheme Co-ordinators visit the schemes to maintain the day-to-day running of the facilities and help residents with any housing-related issues.
Anyone interested in the schemes must be aged 55-plus. For more information about the open day and current availability at the schemes, please contact Dales Housing on 01629 593 200 or visit www.daleshousing.co.uk.
